Driving Requirements
To rent and drive an Outland vehicle:

A valid driver’s licence is required

Drivers must be at least 21 years old

International Driving Permits may be recommended depending on your country

All drivers must be approved and listed on the rental agreement
Outland reserves the right to refuse a rental if a licence is invalid, suspended, or does not meet requirements.
Insurance and Coverage

Responsibilities During Your Trip
Renters are responsible for:

Driving safely and following all local laws

Knowing the limits of the vehicle when driving off pavement

Fueling the vehicle before return

Returning the vehicle on time

Reporting any damage or issues promptly

Late returns, damages, missing equipment, or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.
Camping and Overnight Rules
Camping is flexible, but must follow local regulations:

Campgrounds are recommended for overnight stays

Free camping (Crown land) is possible where permitted“No camping” or “day-use only” areas must be respected

Rooftop tents are considered camping when deployed

In British Columbia, travellers often book campsites as a “car” or “van,” not an RV.
